ProgAtom’s debut album, Sagittarius A, was released in 2015 and introduced the band’s distinctive blend of symphonic, melodic, and classic progressive rock. Featuring Norwegian lyrics by Gun E. Norstrøm and drumming by Simen Motrøen, the album delivers an ambitious musical journey inspired by the rich traditions of 1970s progressive rock while maintaining a modern sound.
Praised by reviewers in several countries, Sagittarius A received international radio airplay and attracted attention from the global prog community, including coverage in the prestigious British magazine PROG. The album was particularly noted for its strong melodies, varied compositions, and expansive musical landscapes.
